As If Meaning In Hindi | As Though Meaning In Hindi

जब किसी कल्पना हो रहे वाक्य में मानो/मानो की/जैसे/जैसे की जैसा शब्द मिलता है तो उस वाक्य का अनुवाद करने के लिए As If या As Though का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

As If और As Though का प्रयोग काल्पनिक की स्थिति में किया जाता है। इन दोनों का मतलब एक ही होता है इसीलिए आप दोनों में से किसी का प्रयोग कर सकते हैं।

Structure : जब वाक्य के अंत में Noun या Adjective होता है।

Subject + V1/V5 + Other words + as if/as though + subject + were + Adjective/Noun.

Note–

सभी प्रकार के सब्जेक्ट के साथ Were का ही प्रयोग होगा।

Examples: As If Meaning In Hindi

राहुल इस प्रकार चलता है मानो कि वह गधा है।

( Rahul is prakar chalta Hai mano ki vah gadha hai )

Rahul walks as if he were an ass.

तुम इस प्रकार रटते हो मानो कि तुम तोता हो।

( Tum is prakar ratate ho mano ki tum Tota Ho )

You memorize as if you were a parrot.

वह इस प्रकार व्यवहार करता है मानो कि वह पागल हो।

( vah is prakar vyavhar karta hai mano ki vah pagal ho )

He behaves as if he were mad.

वह मुझे इस प्रकार आदेश देता है जैसे कि वह मेरा पति है।

( vah mujhe is prakar aadesh deta hai jaise ki vah mera Pati hai )

He orders me as if he were my husband.

तुम इस तरह से मेरा पीछा करते हो जैसे कि मैं तुम्हारा दुश्मन हूं।

( Tum is tarah se mera picha karte ho jaise ki main tumhara Dushman hun )

You follow me as if I were your enemy.

Structure: जब वाक्य के अंत में Verb होता है।

Type 1 जब ' मानो/मानो की/जैसे/जैसे की ' के बाद आने वाला वाक्य Present Indefinite Tense या Future Indefinite Tense में हो

1. Subject + V1/V5+ Other words + as if/as though you + Subject + would + V1 + other words.

2. Subject + V1/V5+ Other words + as if/ as though + Subject + V2 + other words.

Type 2 जब 'मानो/मानो की/जैसे/जैसे की' के बाद आने वाला वाक्य Present Perfect Tense में हो

Subject + V1/V5+ Other words + as if/as though + Subject + V2 + other words.

Example For Type 1: As If Meaning In Hindi

वह इस तरह से बात करती है जैसे कि वह वहां जाती है।

( vah is tarah se baat karti hai jaise Ki vah vahan jati hai )

He talks as if he would go there.

Or, He speaks as if he went there.

तुम ऐसे बोलते हो जैसे मुझे जानते ही नहीं।

( Tum yaise bolate ho jaise mujhe jante hi nahin )

You speak as if you would not know me.

Or, You speak as if you didn't know me.

ऐसा लगता है मानो कि बारिश होगी।

( Aisa lagta hai mano ki barish hogi )

It seems as if it would rain.

ऐसा लगाता है जैसे कि तुम पढ़ते हो।

( Aisa lagta hai jaise ki tum padhte ho )

It seems as if you would read.

Example For Type 2 : As If Meaning In Hindi

तुम ऐसे दिखते हो जैसे कि तुमने 10 दिनों से नहाया नहीं है।

( Tum aise dikhte ho jaise ki tumne 10 dinon se nahaya nahin hai )

You look as if you had not taken a bath for 10 days.

आप इस तरह जा रहे हैं जैसे की आप दस दिनों से गए नहीं है।

( Aap is tarah ja rahe hain jaise ki aap 10 dinon se gaye nahin hai )

You are going as if you haven't gone for ten days.

वह लड़का ऐसे दिखता है जैसे कि उसने 1 साल से स्नान नहीं किया है।

( Vah Ladka  aise dekhta hai jaise ki usne ek sal se Snan nahin kiya hai )

That boy looks as if he hasn't taken a bath for 1 year.

ऊपर में बताए गए सारे वाक्य अवास्तविक वाक्य हैं अब हम ऐसे वाक्यों पर चर्चा करेंगे जो कि वास्तविक रहेगा

जब 'मानो/मानो की/जैसे/जैसे की' के बाद आने वाला वाक्य वास्तविक होता है तब दोनों वाक्यों को प्रेजेंट इंडेफिनिट टेंस के अनुसार किया जाता है।

तुम इस प्रकार बोलते हो जैसे कि तुम इसका आंसर जानते हो।

Unreal – You speak as if you knew the answer.

Real – You speak as if you know the answer.
